ELM Designs is the small business of jewelry artist Lara McGlinchy. What began as three friends (hence the E.L.M. initials) making jewelry and marketing under one name, ELM Designs has evolved to a one woman enterprise. With a background in both painting and metalsmithing, Lara's work demonstrates the aesthetics found in line, shape, color, and pattern.

Lara challenges herself to produce high quality, modern, and minimalist designs, while incorporating the ancient metalsmithing technique of Mokume Gane into her jewelry line. Every piece of jewelry is entirely crafted by hand in Lara's home studio in Fairbanks, Alaska.
